Dan Gartland

Dan Gartland is a Staff Writer at Sports Illustrated, where since June 2014, Dan has authored the flagship daily newsletter SI:AM and edited coverage of professional wrestling in collaboration with the Wrestling Observer. Gartland began contributing to SI.com’s popular Hot Clicks column as an Associate Producer in April 2018, gaining recognition as one of the site's most-read authors. Prior to this, Gartland served as a Men's basketball beat writer for The Fordham Ram from September 2011 to April 2014 and held editorial positions at Slate Magazine and internships at Deadspin. Gartland earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Fordham University in 2014.
