Travis Shutt has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Travis began their career as a Technical Administrator at OPTIMUM NETWORKING, where they provided client/customer telephone support and offsite systems/networking support. From there, they worked as a Warehouse Manager at Industrial Resources Inc. and as a Sales Associate at Mountain Land Motors and RV. Travis then joined Backcountry.com as part of their Warehouse Operations team.
Travis later transitioned to roles in customer support and technical assistance. At Unisys.com, they provided Technical Support/Help Desk Services, delivering helpdesk solutions to internal and external clientele. Travis then joined IHS, Inc. as a Professional Support personnel, handling customer service calls and maintaining the customer service tracking tickets.
Travis further expanded their skills in customer support at Oracle, where they served as a Customer Service Admin Support. Travis'sresponsibilities included resolving customer inquiries, handling product configuration issues, and providing real-time solutions. Travis also gained experience in product support and customer education as a Product Support Specialist at Cornerstone OnDemand, where they solved complex application software-related questions and issues and curated a Knowledge-Base through case activity updates.
Travis most recently worked at Sportsman's Warehouse as a Product Information Management Administrator Lead. In this role, they created and managed product information, optimized online merchandising, and ensured accuracy and compliance with policies and data quality requirements.
Prior to their current position, Travis showcased their skills as an Environmental Database Specialist and Research Associate at Colorado State University. During their tenure, they developed and maintained environmental databases, resolved data conflicts, and analyzed and managed hazardous waste profiles and data.
Throughout their career, Travis has consistently demonstrated strong communication and problem-solving abilities, as well as a dedication to customer satisfaction and system efficiency.
Travis Shutt attended Salt Lake Community College from 1993 to 1995, where they studied Electronics. Prior to that, they attended West High School from 1989 to 1993 and studied Electronics and Music. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including EPCRA and TRI from Naval Civil Engineer Corps Officers School in 2014, Intro To Hazardous Waste Generation & Handling from the UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY in 2013, Oracle Discoverer Training from IHS, Inc. in 2011, and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of Greensboro, NC in 1999.
