Owain Manship

Owain Manship is an experienced sports science professional currently serving as the Head of Strength and Conditioning at sportsmed since May 2024. Previously, Manship held roles as the Lead Academy Sports Scientist at Rotherham United Football Club and Strength and Conditioning Coach at sportsmed. Other notable positions include Head of Sports Science at Emami East Bengal, Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the South Australian Cricket Association, and various coaching roles across women’s and men’s programs at West Adelaide Football Club. Manship began a career in strength and conditioning with roles at Bendigo Braves, Healthy Mates Health and Conditioning Complex, and Adelaide 36ers. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science from Edith Cowan University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of South Australia.
