Alex Meza

Alex Meza started their work experience as a Freelance Web Developer in 2017. In this role, they used various web development technologies such as HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, Vue.js/React.js, PHP, MySQL, and Wordpress to create websites for businesses in San Diego. They also utilized design tools like Sketch and Figma for wireframes and design comps, and provided project planning, scoping, management, and implementation services. Additionally, they consulted clients on web solutions, integrations, and cost, and held regular meetings for ideation and status reports. Some of their clients included Sunsick Studio, SolarBaja, EnvisionSolar (now Beam Global), Aviara Solar Contractors, and more.

From 2018 to 2020, Alex worked at Rescue | The Behavior Change Agency as a Web Developer. They developed full-stack web applications using JavaScript, Node.js, MySQL, Vue.js, React.js, HTML5, SCSS, and Wordpress. They collaborated with designers to create pixel-perfect websites and maintained a range of websites for state and national organizations such as FDA and VT Dept.

In 2020, Alex was promoted to Sr. Web Developer at Rescue | The Behavior Change Agency, where they continued to develop full-stack web applications using JavaScript, Node.js, MySQL, and either Vue.js or React.js.

In 2021, Alex joined Biteable as a Software Engineer. They used React.js, Next.js, PHP, and Wordpress to develop a headless app architecture with page-building features and static generation.

Currently, Alex is working at SportsRecruits as a Senior Frontend Engineer, starting in November 2022. They are responsible for using Vue.js 3, TailwindCSS, Storybook.js, and TypeScript to create a shared UI component library used across SportsRecruits platforms.

From 2014 to 2015, Alex Meza attended San Diego State University. Alex pursued a field of study in Computer Science, but it is not specified whether they completed a degree or not.
