Ioannis Magkafosis

Ioannis Magkafosis has extensive experience in the field of human resources, with a particular focus on talent acquisition and management. Ioannis is currently serving as the Head of Talent Ops at Spotawheel, where they are responsible for ensuring HR effectiveness and driving the development and execution of HR strategies. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant at OPTIMAL HR GROUP, where they provided executive search and selection services and managed projects for Greek and multinational enterprises. Ioannis has also held senior positions at Independent Consulting, Humanis HR Consultants, and Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation, where they contributed to recruitment and account management efforts. In addition to their corporate experience, Ioannis has lectured at various educational institutions, including Metropolitan College, Business College of Athens, New York College of Athens, and Mediterranean College, where they taught courses on topics such as international HR management, organizational behavior, and human resource management.

Ioannis Magkafosis has a diverse education history. In 1986, they completed their high school education at the School of Elliniki Paideia - The Greek Education, earning an Apolitirion degree. Ioannis later pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sociology at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences from 1998 to 2002. Ioannis furthered their studies by completing a Master's degree in International Employment Relations & Human Resource Management at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2003 to 2004.
