The Artist Marketing team is part of the wider UK+IE Music org, and plays a key role in defining and driving Spotify’s creative marketing strategy around new music releases and editorial content. As part of the Artist Marketing team you will help craft the marketing strategy for artist campaigns, playlist brands and cultural moments to drive differentiation and brand love for Spotify with target consumers

This position requires experience and passion for the music and entertainment industry with a firm pulse on creative content in all forms and its cultural impact. This position will develop marketing and brand strategies across all genres, in support of driving brand love and audience growth on platform. You will be responsible for project and partner management, campaign and media planning, creative production, events, and delivery of coordinated campaigns

You are passionate about music, entertainment, arts and culture and have experience working in cross-functional teams, shaping brand stories, managing end-to-end processes, workflows and execution across various media channels. You have an eye on the creative community, identifying diverse photographers, film makers, producers and more for us to partner with. You will be based out our London office.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop comprehensive, strategic and compelling content marketing campaigns that ladder up to defined Spotify objectives
  • Collaborate daily with the Artist+Label Partnerships team (our interface with the music industry) to ensure clear communication of plans to artists and their teams
  • Be marketing lead on key UK+IE artist and playlist brand campaigns, from establishing the strategy to brief development, through creative and media execution, to measurement and reporting, ensuring clear communication throughout each step of the process
  • Collaborate across the UK and global Music and Consumer Marketing teams to build holistic marketing initiatives and help to identify key audience growth opportunities
  • Engage external creatives and agencies in support of delivering plans in creative, compelling and authentic ways, with the consumer, artist and brand in mind at all times
  • Build and present presentations and documents that communicate team and project performance and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Handling budgets and internal and external resources efficiently.

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years marketing experience with a lifestyle brand, music role or agency with responsibility for creative marketing strategy, project management and implementation
  • Experience managing complex, collaborative projects with multiple partners
  • Experience in creative content and event production, you understand how to work with artist teams and creative teams, producing work that meets multiple needs
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and high-energy environment and are comfortable with occasional ambiguity and are a team player willing to pitch in whenever needed
  • You are highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • You have a point of view and eye for creative direction, and an ability to convey opinions in a diplomatic way, taking into account all partners
  • You possess excellent communication and writing skills
  • You are proficient at using Google Drive, Excel, and Slides
  • You have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
