Tak Sing Wong has a wealth of work experience in the field of mechanical engineering and biomedical engineering. Tak Sing began their career as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2001. Tak Sing then pursued their education further and worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA from 2003 to 2009. After that, they became a Post Doctoral Researcher at UCLA from 2009 to 2010. Tak continued their research journey as a Wyss Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University from 2010 to 2012. In 2013, they joined Penn State University as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering and later progressed to become an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Penn State University. Additionally, in 2018, Tak co-founded spotLESS Materials and took on the role of Chief Technology Officer.
Tak Sing Wong started their education journey in 2000 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Robotics and Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems. Tak Sing completed their undergraduate studies in 2003. Following this, they enrolled at UCLA in 2003 and obtained a Ph.D. in Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems/Nanotechnology in 2009.
