Rick Findlater

Rick Findlater has extensive experience in product design and user experience across various companies. Rick is currently the Product Design Lead at Spotlight Reporting, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Hatch as a Product Designer and Optimisation Specialist from 2021 until 2023. From 2019 to 2021, Rick was the Head of Design at Melon Health. Rick also served as a Senior Product Designer at Flux Federation from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they were the Head of UX and Customer Success at Wipster from 2013 to 2016. Rick's career began at Catalyst IT Limited in 2007, where they worked as a Front-End Developer and User Experience Designer until 2013. Rick also gained experience as a Business Manager at Tonic Creative Communications in 2004 and as a Legal Editor at Thomson Reuters from 2001 to 2004.

Rick Findlater attended Wellington College from 1991 to 1995. Rick then went on to study at Victoria University of Wellington from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. In 2005 and 2006, Rick attended Natcoll Design Technology School, where they obtained a Diploma of Web Design and Development.
