Marilyn Orcutt

Marilyn Orcutt is an Associate Attorney at Spotts Fain PC since August 2022, specializing in commercial real estate within the Business Department. Previously, Marilyn served as a Research Assistant for Professor Jaclyn Cherry at the University of South Carolina School of Law and was an Editorial Board Production Editor for the ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal. Additional experience includes a Legal Extern position at Keep It Green, a Summer Associate role at Rogers Townsend, LLC, and a Law Clerk position at the Law Office of Smokey Brown, PC. Marilyn holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Retail Management and Sports and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina. Marilyn also gained valuable experience in event management and compliance through internships and volunteer positions, including serving as the secretary on the Board of Directors for Mid Atlantic Equitation Festival.
