John Nanninga

John Nanninga has extensive experience in emergency services, serving as Fire Captain for the City of Houston Fire Department since November 2004, where responsibilities include supervising a fire station and crew. Nanninga began in various roles within the fire service, including Engineer/Operator and Firefighter, and held positions at multiple fire departments such as Spring Fire Department as a part-time Firefighter, Jersey Village Fire Department as Firefighter/Paramedic, Champions ESD as Firefighter, and Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department as Firefighter, EMT, and Paramedic. Nanninga holds a Paramedic certification from Houston Community College and EMT-Basic and Basic Structural Firefighter certifications from Lone Star College.
