Sahar Mirzaee is a Research Scientist at Spring Health and an Adjunct Lecturer at Northeastern University, both roles held since September 2020. Previously, Sahar served as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, where an object detection model was developed with 98% accuracy for distinguishing between individuals wearing safety helmets and those not. Sahar also held the position of Visiting Faculty at Northeastern University School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs and has extensive teaching experience in statistical analysis, information analytics, and data visualization. As a Data Analyst for Eversource Energy, analysis of electricity demand data was performed to support energy efficiency initiatives. Academically, Sahar earned a Ph.D. in Public Policy and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Northeastern University, following a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tehran.
