Emily Bishop has an extensive background in clinical research and biomechanics, currently serving as a Clinical Research Associate at Spring Loaded Technology since February 2019. Alongside this role, Emily has been a Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Calgary since April 2016, focusing on biomechanical and clinical assessments of a knee brace designed for multicompartment knee osteoarthritis patients. Additionally, Emily has contributed to various roles including Coordinator of Biomedical Engineering Research Strategy at the University of Calgary, Biomechanics Consultant at Orpyx Medical Technologies, and Clinical Trial Coordinator at Zephyr Sleep Technologies. Emily has also been involved in academic settings as a Sessional Instructor at Mount Royal University and held leadership roles in community outreach and research committees. Emily holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University.
