Herbert A. Wetli

Herbert A. Wetli, Ph.D., currently serves as the Head of Pharmaceutical Development at the Global Antibiotic R&D Partnership (GARDP) since March 2024, focusing on the design, development, and industrialization of new treatments. With extensive experience in pharmaceutical development, Wetli has held significant roles at various organizations, including Development Director at Corden Pharma and Head of Product Development at Vifor Pharma. Contributions to academia include serving as a guest lecturer at the University of Bern. Wetli holds advanced degrees from Harvard University, the University of Bern, and the University of Basel, specializing in biochemical and analytical sciences.
