Arwa Tawfiq

Arwa Tawfiq is an experienced editor at Springer Nature Group since June 2019, specializing in journal portfolio management and research integrity analysis. Key achievements include leading the merger and launch of new journals within the BMC Series, developing workflows to promote data sharing, and creating protocols to enhance the peer review process. Arwa has expertise in ethics and data sharing policy development and currently serves as a member of the Sustainable Development Goals team. Previous roles include Media & Events Manager at Platter Up and various positions at Syracuse University, UCL, and Alzheimer's Research UK. Arwa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from UCL.
