Katarzyna Marcinkiewicz

Katarzyna Marcinkiewicz, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Editor at Springer Nature's Nature Communications since December 2016, having previously held positions as Associate Editor for both Nature Communications and Nature Structural and Molecular Biology, as well as a locum Assistant Editor at Nature Biotechnology. Prior to this editorial role, Katarzyna conducted postdoctoral research at NYU Grossman School of Medicine under Dr. Gregory David from March 2014 to November 2016 and completed a PhD in Pharmacology at Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University from 2006 to 2013. Earlier academic experiences include working as a Graduate Student at Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences and conducting research at Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology and Warszawski Uniwersytet Medyczny - WUM, focusing on various aspects of molecular biology and pharmacology.
