Kevin Hurler

Kevin Hurler, MS, is an accomplished communications professional with a strong background in science journalism and editing. Currently serving as the External Communications Manager for Nature research journals and Scientific American at Springer Nature Group, Kevin identifies and promotes high-impact scientific content across a portfolio of 38 journals. Previous experience includes roles as a Science and Tech Reporter and Host/Producer for G/O Media, where Kevin produced video content and reported on technology, space, and engineering. Kevin's editorial expertise was further demonstrated at Wiley as a Post-Acceptance Editor and Staff Writer, focusing on chemistry and materials science. Kevin holds a Master of Science in Geological Sciences from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Environmental Studies from The College of New Jersey.
