Jill E. Michelhaugh

Jill E. Michelhaugh, MAT, currently serves as the Founding Assistant Principal for Dual Language at Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership since July 2021. Previously, Jill worked as a 3rd Grade Bilingual Educator and 4th Grade Classroom Teacher in Freeport School District 145 from August 2018 to August 2021, and as an Adult ESL Instructor at Highland Community College from January 2021 to July 2021. Early career experiences include student teaching at Northampton Public Schools and Smith College Campus School in 2018, a role as a Language Assistant with Meddeas, and participation as a violinist with Sinfonietta Académica. Jill's educational background encompasses a Master of Arts in Teaching from Smith College, a Certificate in Language Interpretation and Translation from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a double major in Spanish Language and Literature and Music from College of the Holy Cross.
