Cathy Valent

Cathy Valent is an accomplished professional in the merchandising and design sector, currently serving as Vice President of Merchandising for Home Decorative Fabrics at Springs Creative Products Group since September 2020. Prior to this role, Cathy Valent was the President and Design Director at CeCe Design Group from June 2005 to September 2020, and held positions including Sales and Creative Director at Asia Global USA, and Art Director at Impact Innovations/New Filcas of America. Early career experience includes managing product development at ITG/Burlington Industries and serving as Vice President of Merchandising and Design at Pressman Gutman. Cathy Valent holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Political Science/Sociology from SUNY Brockport and has also studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
