Delvin Dinkins

Delvin Dinkins serves as the Head of School at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy since July 2022, leading one of Philadelphia's largest independent private schools for grades pre-k through 12. Previously, Delvin held the position of Assistant Head of School at The Pingry School from July 2017 to June 2022 and served as the Head of Upper School at The Episcopal Academy from July 2013 to June 2017. An extensive career in education includes various leadership roles in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District, such as Director of Assessment & Accountability, Principal of Valley Forge Elementary School, and Assistant Principal at Conestoga High School, along with teaching and curricular development positions. Delvin's academic credentials encompass a Doctor of Education from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College, complemented by a Principal Certification from Penn State Great Valley.
