Mark Holleman has over 20 years of professional experience in the fields of finance and technology. Mark began their career in 2000 as a Financial Analyst at Robertson Stephens International, where they researched industries, analyzed company financials, and created financial models. In 2003, they co-founded the Betel Box Hostel in Singapore. In 2007, they participated in the Bertelsmann Entrepreneurs Program, a management development program sponsored by the Bertelsmann Executive Board. From 2009 to 2013, they held various roles at Arvato, including Business Development Director, where they improved the performance of a BMW contact center and secured a 5-year contract renewal. In 2013, they were a Merger Integration Lead at Penguin Random House. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Director of Corporate Strategy at Higher Education Online. From 2014 to 2020, they were the VP Global Accounts (Payments & Financial Services) at Arvato Financial Solutions, where they successfully launched a new consumer Buy Now Pay Later payment method in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. In 2020, they were a Founder in Residence at Antler and a Co-Founder and CPO at Sprinque, where they are building the checkout infrastructure for frictionless B2B payments.
Mark Holleman completed their Gymnasium Diploma at Kennemer Lyceum from 1988 to 1994. Mark then attended UCL from 1994 to 1997, where they earned their BSc in Economics. In 1997, they enrolled at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and obtained an MSc in Accounting & Finance in 1998. Finally, in 2006, they graduated from INSEAD with an MBA in Business Administration and Management.
