Alexis Howerton

Alexis Howerton, Ph.D., serves as a Strategic Advisor at PFNH Consulting since July 2020 and is the Founder, Board Member, and CEO/President of Spruce Biosciences since November 2014. Alexis holds a Postdoctoral Scholar degree from Stanford University School of Medicine (2014) and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania (2009-2014). A Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) was obtained from Macalester College (2003-2007). Previous educational experiences include attending the French American International School for the International Baccalaureate (1999-2003), The Hamlin School, Queen's College London (1997-1998), and the American School in London (1996-1997).
