Lucy Hartland is a Special Counsel at Spruson & Ferguson since March 2018, with extensive experience in intellectual property law, including patent litigation and enforcement. Lucy has previously held roles as a Senior Associate at DibbsBarker and Spruson & Ferguson Lawyers, and as a Litigator at Shelston IP. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Policy Officer at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, where significant policy work was conducted, and as a Legal Editor at Thomson Reuters Australia. Lucy's early career involved providing legal research support for judges at the NSW Supreme Court and working as a lawyer at Corrs Chambers Westgarth and Minter Ellison, among other positions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, a Master of Intellectual Property from the University of Technology Sydney, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law.
