Ferdinand Swedi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community engagement and non-profit management. Currently serving as the Oakland Project Manager at SPUR since September 2016, Ferdinand coordinates a multi-year design process to enhance Oakland's main streets in collaboration with city officials and community organizations. In addition, Ferdinand is a RISE Fellow with New Sector Alliance, participating in a competitive leadership development program focused on capacity-building projects within the social sector. Previous roles include Resident Assistant at American University, Executive Education Program Assistant at Stanford Graduate School of Business, and various internships that provided valuable support in human rights, refugee resettlement, and educational environments.
