Tara Kaufman, GTP

Tara Kaufman, GTP has over 20 years of experience in the travel industry. Tara began their career in 1999 as a Contract Administrator and Resort & Cruise Sales Representative at PERX.com Interline Vacations. In 2000, they moved to MeriStar Hospitality Corporation as a Business Travel Sales Manager. In 2004, they joined Interstate Hotels & Resorts as a Business Travel Sales Manager and Corporate Group Sales Manager. In 2007, they became the Director of Travel Industry Sales at KSL Resorts. In 2013, they were appointed as the Director, Travel Industry Sales at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. In 2017, they began working as an Independent Travel Advisor with Tafari Travel and as a Senior Product Manager and Experience Curator at Spur Experiences. Additionally, they were the Travel Industry and Group Sales Manager at Lake Austin Spa Resort.

Tara Kaufman has completed their studies at Austin Community College in the field of Travel & Tourism. Tara obtained their GTP certification from the Global Business Travel Association in November 2016.
