Martin Höglund

Martin Höglund has over 20 years of work experience in the field of SQL Server development and database administration. Martin started their career at Eiknes Fyra Linjer AB as a Consultant from August 1997 to February 1999. Martin then joined Mantacore AB in August 2000 as a DBA, responsible for an insurance system and providing SQL Server consulting. From January 1992 to November 2009, they worked at MH Data as a Consultant and Teacher, where they provided consulting services and taught courses in system development, SQL Server, and database design. In October 2005, Martin joined CityMail Sweden AB as an Information Architect / DBA, where they were responsible for production and development DBA tasks, designing and developing a forecasting system and data warehouse for SQL Server 7-2005/8. In December 2009, they started their own company, Sqlik, where they currently serve as the Owner. Since September 2011, Martin has been working at SQL Service as a Senior SQL Server developer / DBA.

Martin Höglund completed their Master's degree in Informatics (Computer science) from Lund University, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following from Microsoft: MCSE - Business Intelligence in September 2016, MCSE - Data Platform in September 2013, MCSA - SQL Server 2012/2014 in March 2013, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate in September 2022.
