Florine Pinto

Florine Pinto has over 20 years of work experience in finance and management roles. Florine is currently the Head of Finance at SquadStack since July 2021. Prior to that, they were the VP of Finance at PPL India from September 2018 to June 2021, where they led the company's finance, human resources, and investor functions. Florine provided strategic recommendations to the CEO and the Board on financial planning, cash flow, taxation, investment priorities, and regulatory matters. Florine also represented the company with national and international authorities.

Before their role at PPL India, Florine worked as a Finance Controller at POKKT from December 2016 to August 2018. Florine was also a Senior Finance Manager at Culture Machine Media Pvt. Ltd from February 2016 to November 2016.

Florine took a break from their career to raise their family, upgrade their knowledge, and prioritize personal agenda from January 2012 to January 2016.

Prior to their sabbatical, they held the role of Manager - Planning, Budgeting, and Reporting at BG Group from November 2006 to December 2011. Florine was responsible for management reporting and forecasting for pan India operations and implemented process improvements to streamline processes and flow of information.

Florine has also worked as a Senior Associate at Morgan Stanley from February 2006 to October 2006, performing performance reporting and compilation of reports for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds. Before that, they served as a Manager MIS at Universal Music Group from December 2003 to January 2006, responsible for management reporting, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

Additionally, Florine worked as a Consultant at GPS Consulting from May 2003 to November 2003, where they finalized Transfer Pricing Audit reports and completed statutory financial accounting reporting requirements for various companies. Florine began their career as a Processing Officer at Citibank India from February 2001 to April 2002, where they worked in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team for registrar agents with Birla Sunlife Mutual Fund.

Florine Pinto obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Shri Chinai College, completing their education between 1994 and 1999. Prior to that, they attended St. Anne's High School from 1984 to 1994. Later on, in 1997-2001, Florine pursued the Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Lastly, in 2016, they took a course in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) at the same institute.
