Daniel Chesson has held various roles in the technology and service industries since 1997. Daniel began their career as a Weather Observer at Mount Washington Observatory in 1997. In 1998, they became a Ski Patrol Dispatcher at Killington. In 1999, they were an Engineer at Lightwave Communications, Inc. and in 2001, they were an Electronics Technician at Custom Navigation Systems. From 2003 to 2005, they were a SMT Production Supervisor at Silicon Integration, Inc. and a General Manager at Ockam Instruments from 2005 to 2015. Since 2015, they have been a Solutions Manager, Senior Solutions Engineer, and Senior Sales Engineer at Square 9 Softworks. As Senior Solutions Engineer, they provided liaison between the sales team and the professional services group to help ensure streamlined hand-over of projects from the sales process to implementation. As Senior Sales Engineer, they provided refined and nuanced technical, process, and strategic advice for complex situations. As Sales Engineer, they provided a knowledgeable and responsive point of contact for document management, capture automation, process automation, and web forms management software solutions.
Daniel Chesson attended Southern Connecticut State University from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science. Prior to that, they attended the University of Arizona from 1991 to 1992, but did not receive a degree.
