Alden is a license eligible master’s level clinician and National Certified Counselor (NCC). He received his MA in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University’s School of Medicine in 2020. Prior to obtaining his master’s degree, Alden attended Providence College, where he earned a BS in psychology with a neuroscience certificate in 2018. Alden has worked in the field of mental health counseling and addiction treatment in a variety of settings, including partial hospitalization, outpatient, and emergency services. He has a special interest in working with the LGBTQ+ community. Alden currently works as both the lead clinician of the evening IOP and as an individual outpatient clinician. As an outpatient clinician, Alden works with adults struggling with a wide range mental health disorders and substance use disorders. Alden believes in looking at all individuals through a holistic lens, and works closely with his clients to tailor their treatment to meet their specific needs.
