Arjuna Vijayanayagam

Arjuna Vijayanayagam has a diverse range of work experience spanning different roles and industries. Arjuna founded SquareBear in 2020 and also worked as a Principal Product Manager at Service NSW in the same year. Prior to that, they served as a Product Manager at the NSW Department of Customer Service from 2019 to 2020, where they successfully automated the process of issuing Electrician licenses for the building industry. Arjuna was also the Director of ASE Health, a health informatics and management consultancy, from 2017 to 2020. Arjuna held the role of Technical Lead at Service NSW from 2018 to 2019, and before that, they were a Service Design Lead at the NSW Department of Finance, Services and Innovation in 2018. In 2017, they were the Head of Consulting - Global at BOS GLOBAL Holdings Limited. Arjuna has experience as a Principal Consultant at RXP Services Limited from 2015 to 2016, where they developed go-to-market strategies and tender responses. Arjuna also represented Australia on the Quality Assurance Committee for IHTSDO from 2014 to 2015, working on developing incident management policies. In the same year, Arjuna was a Marketing and Strategy Consultant at the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS), where they contributed to market growth and delivered value to customers.

Arjuna Vijayanayagam obtained a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship (MBAe) from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, starting in 2011 and completing in 2013. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2010, Arjuna pursued a Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) in Biomedical Engineering at UNSW. Arjuna's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Biomedical Engineering from Flinders University, which was completed from 1996 to 2006. Additionally, Arjuna obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from the same institution between 1996 and 2005, although the field of study for this particular degree is unspecified.

In terms of certifications, Arjuna Vijayanayagam earned the certification of Agile Product Ownership - Certified Professional from ICAgile in March 2021.
