Balaji Modhagala

Balaji Modhagala has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Balaji is currently the Founder & CEO of SquareML, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to that, Balaji worked at SiviSoft in New Jersey, USA, starting in December 2005. In this role as Director, they were responsible for managing product development and sales of the No-Code ServiceDx Machine Learning Tool Kit and an enterprise cloud-based orchestration platform. Balaji also led business development and delivery of solutions in various regions including the US, Canada, India, Caribbean, and Latin America.

Before joining SiviSoft, Balaji worked at First Internet Systems as the Chief Technology Officer (Co-Founder) from June 2000 to November 2005. Balaji had end-to-end responsibility for the product life cycle, team assessments, budgets, product definition, and delivery. Balaji played a crucial role in creating the product vision and direction for the Intelligent Messaging Application - FIS WMS. Balaji also conducted customer and competitive analysis to define product requirements.

Prior to their time at First Internet Systems, Balaji worked at Verizon as a Sr. Technical Consultant from July 1995 to May 2000. Balaji started their career at IBM as a Sr. Programmer in August 1988 and worked there until June 1995.

Balaji Modhagala holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications Management from Iona College, New York. Additionally, they obtained another Master's degree in Computer Science from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College. Balaji completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Production Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. The specific start and end years for each degree are not provided.
