Amir Rahman

Amir Rahman is currently a Desk Quant Analyst at Squarepoint Capital, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Amir served as Honorary Secretary for the Royal College of Science Union from August 2022 to August 2023, where responsibilities included organizing the RCSU Autumn Ball and supporting the president's duties. Amir also worked as a Peer Tutor at Imperial College London, assisting first-year students with mathematics and university challenges from November 2022 to May 2023. A Summer Analyst position at Goldman Sachs was held from June 2022 to August 2022, where Amir achieved a core Alteryx license and gained experience in database analysis. As President of the Imperial College Mathematics Society, Amir led an organization of over 1,600 members and arranged a variety of events from August 2021 to August 2022. Earlier research experience includes analyzing cell data at Imperial College London and using Python for high-dimensional data representation. Amir earned a Master of Science in Mathematics from Imperial College London in June 2023, following A-Level studies at University College School.
