Edward Rong

Edward Rong is a Quantitative Researcher at Squarepoint Capital since February 2023, focusing on index rebalance. Previously, Edward held roles at DRW as a Quantitative Trading Analyst from July 2019 to December 2021, with a focus on trading delta one products, and participated in a trading analyst internship in June 2018, rotating between teams and engaging in options theory and mock trading. Earlier experience includes a Model Validation Internship at Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd., where Edward validated theoretical prices and PV01s of various financial instruments, and a work placement at Mizuho International, where insights into financial engineering and risk management were gained through implementing algorithms. Edward Rong earned a Master’s degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, following a comprehensive education at Westminster School in Mathematics and related subjects.
