James Garriss III

James Garriss III is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management and finance. Currently serving as a Development Manager at GEICO since May 2022, James has excelled in claims negotiations and management development. In their role as Alpha Capture Account Manager at Squarepoint Capital since October 2018, James specializes in developing automated trading systems and managing investment strategies across international financial markets. Previously, as Director of Operations at Browning Media, LLC from November 2014 to August 2021, James adopted a global perspective to enhance client decision-making regarding climate impacts. James also held the position of Managing Director during the transition of Browning Media from a sole proprietorship to an LLC, where responsibilities included training and supervising a diverse team. James holds an MBA in International Business from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor's degree in International Business Management from UNM Anderson School of Management.
