Marcus Ahmad

Marcus Ahmad is a Quantitative Researcher at Squarepoint Capital, specializing in systematic quantitative strategies for global commodities trading since August 2023. Previously, Marcus completed a Quantitative Trading Internship at Optiver in August 2022 and a Machine Learning Internship at Umajin, where a project to identify bacterial colonies on AGAR plates was structured and completed in September 2021. Marcus also served as a Mathematics Tutor at IVY AT HOME for Tutors and a Mathematics Teacher at Ashcroft Technology Academy. Academic achievements include an MMath in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Mathematics from the same institution, along with an International Baccalaureate from Ashcroft Technology Academy.
