Villy de Luca

Villy de Luca, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Villy is currently a Member of the Board of Advisors to the M.Sc. in Law and Finance at the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford. Prior to this, they worked at Squarepoint Capital as the Head of ECM & High Touch Trading (EMEA), focusing on IPOs and capital raises. Villy also assisted the Alpha Capture team in developing European strategies. Before their time at Squarepoint Capital, Villy worked as a Lawyer at Allen & Overy, specializing in M&A, capital markets, and project finance. Villy qualified as an Associate in the Derivatives and Structured Finance team.

Villy de Luca, CFA obtained a Master's degree in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education and obtained a Master's degree in Law from Università Bocconi between 2006 and 2011. In 2012-2014, Villy de Luca studied at The University of Law and earned a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practice Course (LPC). In 2009-2010, they also completed the Themis Joint Certificate in International and Business Law at Esade. Furthermore, Villy de Luca holds an International Baccalaureate from Marymount International School of Rome.

Additionally, Villy de Luca obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from CFA Institute in June 2019.
