Wayne Wang

Wayne Wang is a quantitative analyst at Squarepoint Capital since August 2023, specializing in macro analysis. Prior to this role, Wayne gained valuable experience as a software engineer intern at TikTok, where back-end engineering skills were applied to develop and maintain API micro-services for cloud migration. Wayne also interned at JPMorgan Chase & Co., focusing on full-stack engineering with a range of technologies including Java Spring Boot and React. Additional internships include work at Shopee, contributing to the ShopeePay Acquiring Service, and DSO National Laboratories, where Wayne worked on a geospatial data management web application. Wayne holds a double degree in Computer Science and Business Analytics from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and participated in the Singapore Universities Student Exchange Programme at the National University of Singapore.
