Toby Weston

Toby Weston has over 25 years of work experience in the technology field. Toby is currently serving as the Lead Solution Architect for Cloud Platform & Infrastructure at SR Technics Group. In this role, Toby is responsible for solution design and analysis related to cloud platform and infrastructure.

Prior to their current position, Toby worked at Swiss Re where they held multiple roles. Toby served as the Head of Mobile Centre of Excellence, where they established and managed the Global Device Management Infrastructure for smart phones and tablets. Toby also defined and established the Swiss Re Mobile Centre of Excellence and provided support and consultancy on mobile development.

Before their time at Swiss Re, Toby worked at Credit Suisse as the Head of Mobile and Multi-Channel. In this role, they focused on leveraging best practices and technology for the strategic rollout of mobile and social initiatives globally. Toby also served as the Head of Mobile Solutions Engineering, where they provided technology expertise and consultancy for innovation projects within the bank.

Toby's earlier work experience includes roles at various organizations such as the Institute of Neuroinformatics, University of Zurich and ETH Zurich, Deutsche Sparkasse Leasing, Metro AG, Deutsche Börse, Deutsche Bank AG, and Logica. Throughout their career, Toby has demonstrated their expertise in architecture, development, and technical leadership.

Toby Weston has a history of education in various fields. Toby completed a degree in Biology (BSc) from the University of Exeter from 1990 to 1993. Later, they pursued a degree in Software Engineering (MSc) from the University of Westminster, completing it between 1996 and 1997. Finally, they obtained another MSc degree, this time in Artificial Intelligence (Intelligent Systems), from the University of Sussex from 2005 to 2006.
