Connor Awe

Connor Awe is a Senior Research Engineer at SRI International since January 2022, serving as a Principal Investigator and technical contributor on various research programs involving U.S. initiatives. Previous experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Duke University from September 2015 to January 2022, focusing on experimental neutrino physics with non-proliferation applications. Connor Awe also worked as a Research Assistant at JILA - University of Colorado at Boulder from August 2013 to May 2015, where contributions included the construction and characterization of a magneto optical trap for rubidium 87 atoms and the development of external cavity diode lasers. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Nuclear Physics from Duke University (2015-2021) and a BS in Engineering Physics with a Minor in Applied Math and Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder (2011-2015).
