David Hill

David Hill, Ph. D., is a Senior Research Scientist at SRI International since November 2018, previously serving as a Research Scientist. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from May 2013 to August 2018. Expertise includes research on semiconductor nanomaterials for solar energy, electronics, and photonics, along with producing and evaluating simulations of nanomaterials' properties. Skills also encompass maintaining chemical vapor deposition systems, synthesizing complex nanomaterials, and performing various microscopy and spectroscopy techniques. David Hill has successfully fabricated and tested electronic devices from semiconductor nanomaterials and has disseminated research findings through publications, patents, and international presentations.
