Val Emery

Val began his facilities career in 1996 as the director of the transportation and housekeeping departments at a casino in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Looking for an opportunity to move back to the Midwest, Val joined Compass in 2003 with Crothall Healthcare. During his time with Compass, Val helped manage several large acute care hospitals in the Midwest. He joined SSC in 2014. Val is a problem solver by nature and enjoys the challenge in finding solutions. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his four children, cooking Creole food, and going to music festivals with his family. Val is a graduate of Jackson State University.
