Daniel Alexander

Daniel Alexander is a seasoned analytics professional currently serving as the Global Head of Analytics at SS&C Technologies since January 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing product development and data management for a dynamic analytics team. In addition, Daniel co-founded WeatherAlpha LLC, functioning as the Chief Data Scientist and Head of Analytics, and played a key role in developing the WeatherEdge Advertisement Management Platform and authoring Weather Impact Assessments. Daniel also advises Modal on the application of data science and data engineering in their online learning platform. Previous roles include Quantitative Research Consultant at DST kasina, Data Scientist at VIANT, and Senior Analyst at The Weather Channel, complemented by a Master's degree in Meteorology from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Yale University.
