Sal Ahmed

Sal Ahmed has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Sal began their career as a Power Forecasting Analyst at E.ON UK in 2003. Sal then moved on to E.ON, where they worked in multiple positions including Gas Forecasting Analyst, Trading Analyst, Valuation Analyst, Senior Business Developer, and Commercial Development Manager. In 2017, they joined National Grid as a Principle Commercial Developer, before transitioning to Yu Energy as a Business Development Manager in 2018. Later, they worked at SF Recruitment as a Client Engagement Director in 2019. From 2020 to 2023, Sal served as the GB Demand Connections Manager at National Grid, and starting from July 2023, they will hold the position of Head of Commercial at SSE plc.

From 2001 to 2005, Sal Ahmed attended Aston University, where they earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Business & Computer Science.
