Alan Norrie is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the DevOps Technology Manager at SSE Thermal since February 2023, where responsibilities include supporting technical engineering teams to enhance continuous value delivery within the Thermal business unit. Previously, at SSE plc, Alan held the position of IT Service Delivery Manager for Renewables and Thermal Energy, focusing on operational IT priorities and developing a customer-centric IT service portfolio. Alan's extensive background includes leading IT user enablement at TAQA Group, where diverse teams were managed across Europe, as well as roles in technical architecture and infrastructure team leadership. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Honours) in Computing & IT and Business from The Open University, and an HND in Computing from Banff and Buchan College.
