Andy Edgeworth

Andy Edgeworth is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background spanning over a decade in various media and stakeholder engagement roles. Currently serving as Stakeholder Engagement Manager at SSE Thermal since December 2023, Andy previously held the position of Senior Communications Manager at National Highways from March 2022 to December 2023. Additional experience includes roles at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in communications, the General Medical Council as Media Officer, Johnston Press as Deputy News Editor, and Westmorland Gazette as Senior Reporter. Andy began a career in journalism as a Junior Reporter at Northcliffe Media. Educational qualifications include a PgDip in Journalism from the University of Sunderland.
