Brett McMillin

Brett McMillin, MHA, currently serves as the Administrative Director at SSM Health, starting in October 2023. Prior to this role, Brett held the position of Director of Operations at Mercy from March 2022 to October 2023, and Clinic Operations Manager at Ochsner Health from May 2020 to February 2022. Brett's experience includes serving as Practice Manager at CHI Health from June 2017 to April 2020, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing daily operations of a family practice clinic and managing staff. Brett also completed an Administrative Fellowship at CHI Health, gaining extensive operational experience and contributing to significant projects like the implementation of a provider on-call scheduling platform. Early career roles included positions at MU Career Center as a Graduate Assistant, Saint Luke's Health System as an Administrative Intern, and research at Kansas State University, culminating in co-authoring a conference abstract. Brett holds a Master’s Degree and a Health Informatics Certificate from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Kansas State University.
