Kristen Purcell

Kristen Purcell is a seasoned research and analytics professional with extensive experience in leading innovative research initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at SSRS since February 2024, Kristen collaborates with clients to tailor research solutions. Prior roles include Vice President and Chief Research & Analytics Officer at Consumer Reports, and Chief Research Officer, where responsibilities encompassed strategic oversight of research activities. At Mathematica Policy Research, Kristen held positions as Business Transformation Director and Senior Survey Researcher, with a focus on health policy research. As Associate Director for Research at the Pew Research Center, Kristen directed the Internet & American Life Project, contributing significantly to understanding digital technology's impact on society. Kristen earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from Rutgers University, completing studies from 1994 to 2001.
