Heather Amos

Heather Amos has extensive experience in legal counsel roles, currently serving as Corporation Counsel for St. Croix County since June 2015, after previously holding the position of Assistant Corporation Counsel there from February 2002 to November 2012. Prior to this, Heather worked as Assistant Corporation Counsel for Eau Claire County from December 2012 to May 2015. Across these positions, responsibilities included responding to legal inquiries, drafting legal documents, litigating cases, and providing legal assistance under the guidance of Corporation Counsel. Heather's legal career began as a Legal Secretary at Reding & Pilney and in St. Croix County, where attention to detail and legal terminology were essential. Heather holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-law/Political Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
