Omar Santos

Omar Santos is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in test engineering and product management. Currently serving as a Senior Test Engineer at Chiptest Engineering Ltd since December 2014, Omar specializes in verifying and improving application programs and setups utilizing customer-provided Correlation Units. In a concurrent role as Chief Test Product Engineer at ST-Ericsson since February 2008, Omar leads the TPE Calamba group, managing various subcontractors for wafer and final testing. Previous roles include Test Product Engineer at United Test and Assembly Center Ltd., and Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd., where responsibilities encompassed new product introductions, qualification, correlation, and product release to production. Omar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mapúa University, completed in 1998.
