Laura Randgaard has a diverse work experience spanning several healthcare organizations. Laura is currently serving as the Vice President of Patient Care at St. Francis Regional Medical Center. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at Laura Randgaard LLC, specializing in healthcare consulting. At Allina Health, Laura held the roles of Director of Nursing Practice and Informatics, where they were responsible for leading and coordinating clinical decision-making and policy development, as well as Performance Improvement Advisor. Laura also worked at Hennepin County Medical Center as a Patient Care Director for Critical Care and Emergency Services and as a Performance Improvement Advisor. During their time at Fairview Health Services, Laura held various roles including Nurse Manager, Interim Director of Nursing Practice, Coordinator of Professional Practice, Staff RN in the NICU, and Magnet Coordinator. Laura'sexperience includes leading and supporting shared governance models, promoting evidence-based practice, managing quality data, and developing clinical standards.
Laura Randgaard completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Portland, which they attended from 1998 to 2000. From 2009 to 2013, they pursued their Master's degree in Organizational Leadership with a focus on Healthcare and Strategic Management from St. Catherine University. In terms of additional certifications, Laura obtained the Prosci Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci in December 2020. Laura also obtained the Certified in Bridges Coaching Method certification from Bridges Consulting in September 2020. Earlier, in July 2017, Laura achieved the CNML (Certified Nurse Manager and Leader) certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
