Chad Aden has extensive work experience in safety, risk management, and compliance. Chad most recently served as the Vice President of Safety and Enterprise Risk at STG Logistics, where they established corporate safety and risk policies, developed training and policies for regulatory compliance, and successfully defended multiple inspections. Chad also managed claims and achieved significant reductions in workers compensation claims. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Safety at STG Logistics.
Before joining STG Logistics, Chad worked at GEODIS as an EHS Manager and a Regional Compliance Manager. In these roles, they focused on environmental, health, and safety management, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Chad also has experience in operations and logistics, having worked as an Operations Supervisor at Schneider National. Chad achieved excellent results in key performance indicators and implemented cost-saving initiatives. Chad also served as a Safety Supervisor, managing safety and compliance on a large campus with multiple units and employees.
Earlier in their career, Chad worked at Target as an Executive Team Lead in both the logistics and assets protection departments. In these roles, they led teams, managed operations, and implemented strategies to meet sales goals. Chad also specialized in inventory control, theft prevention, and investigations.
Chad's first work experience was as a Resident Assistant at Western Illinois University.
Chad Aden earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Illinois University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Chad also holds several additional certifications, including Associate Safety Professional from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, OSHA 30 Hour Outreach Training Program - General Industry from the U.S. Department of Labor, and Certified Food Safety Manager from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP). Chad obtained these certifications in 2016, 2013, and 2011 respectively.
